NOTE: Please keep in mind that the color of the water changes with the tides. High tide will bring the clear waters from the gulf over Crab Island, turning the water color an incredible turquoise blue. However, the outgoing low tide brings the bay water over Crab Island and the water looks more green like pickle juice, but still very clear. Anytime is good, but high tide is the best for the most pristine-looking water. Check the tidechart to ensure that you get a cruise during high tide if that's what you're looking for.

  • Comfortable Seating - 2 passenger minimum, 6 passenger maximum (Charters for more than 6 will require multiple boats, contact us in advance for availability and rates.)

  • Cooler full of ice, water bottles, cups for your beverages, but NO GLASS BOTTLES at CRAB ISLAND.
  • 4 Bote Floating chairs, floats, inflatables, giant lily pad, paddle board, footballs, frisbees, snorkel gear, basketball hoop, and more! All at NO EXTRA COST.

What To Bring on Your Crab Island Excursion:

  • BYOB & Favorite Drinks - No glass bottles for safety reasons at Crab Island, box or can wine, beer in cans, etc. (Crab Island does not sell alcohol)
  • Snacks/Food (There are food vendors at Crab Island that will accept cash or card.) 
  • Towels, sunscreen, beach hat, sunglasses, waterproof cover for phone
  • Cash to tip your captain (20% is customary should you feel your trip was everything you hoped for)

When you board with us, there’s no guessing about the route. We follow a route through Destin Harbor to Crab Island. The sandbar runs parallel to the shore, and you’ll see it as soon as we clear the bridge. Our captains know the best spots and how to anchor so you can step right into the water without worry.

  • Launch from the East Dock in Destin Harbor: This is the closest access point, making the trip quick and direct for every group.
  • Go Through the Destin Harbor: We handle the busy harbor, steering clear of larger boats and keeping the ride smooth.
  • Anchor on Crab Island: Our captains search for a good spot, so you have space to relax and play.

Once anchored, the water stays shallow enough to stand in most places. Our crew sets up chairs, floats, and water toys right in the water. It’s a spot where you can spend hours without thinking about depth or rough conditions.
